Once the first year of the internationalization project of the UIB Law Faculty has successfully concluded, with the participation of the students Maria Tugores and Coloma Sastre who carried out work to prepare the session of the UN Human Rights Committee and eventually attended its session in Geneva, we announce that the second year of this project has begun. Two other students of the Faculty, Elva Peláez and Marcos Lorite, have begun their research work in support of Mr. Carlos Gómez, member of the Human Rights Committee.
Congratulations to Maria Tugores and Coloma Sastre for the very good work they have done, and good luck to Elva Peláez and Marcos Lorite in the research and preparation task that they have begun to develop to support Mr. Gómez in the preparation of the interactive dialogue that will take place with relevant countries during this spring’s Committee session.
This internationalization project is carried out under the direction and coordination of Prof. Margalida Capellà and Prof. Valentina Milano, director and secretary of LIDIB respectively. Mr. Carlos Gómez is, in addition to being a member of the Human Rights Committee, President of the Superior Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands.
