Members of LIDIB and LINCC (Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Climate Change http://lincc.uib.eu) have organized a cycle of seminars on human rights and climate change for those who are interested in Law and human rights, those concerned about the climate present and future and also for those who want to know what is being done legally and judicially to deal with climate change.
Climate change and human rights. Legal tools for analysis and social action in the face of the climate crisis
This is a free 12-hour course organized by professors of public international law and members of LIDIB and LINCC to explain how climate change affects human rights from a legal perspective. Academics, lawyers and activists will address key aspects such as climate migration, ecofeminism, corporate responsibility, climate litigation, freedom of expression or the criminal prosecution of climate activists, among others.
The course starts this Friday, April 21 and will be taught on Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m. until May 26 at Ca n’Oleo (Carrer de l’Almudaina, 4 in Palma).
There will be a certificate of attendance. Attention: places are limited and the registration deadline is Thursday, April 20.
