The Human Rights Lab LIDIB has participated in the Program of activities of the European Research Night, an initiative of scientific dissemination that takes place in more than 370 European cities and that took place on September 24, 2021.
To commemorate the European Research Night, the UIB has organized, with the coordination of the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit, a program of activities that have sustainability and the environment as a common thread.
Maria Ballester, professor of Constitutional Law and deputy director of the LIDIB, has participated in the micro-talks on the train, along with other researchers from the UIB. The activity consists of explaining in 5 minutes the what and why of the research carried out by the scientific community.
Maria Ballester explained what citizen assemblies for climate are and what they are for, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of this type of participatory process in the face of the enormous social challenge posed by the fight against climate change.
